World’s Largest LED TV: Sharp AQUOS 90-Inch Smart TV

Sharp unveiled the largest LED TV on the planet, the 90-inch AQUOS LED Smart TV with 3D technology on Monday, June 18, 2012 in New York. It is nearly four feet tall and spans more than six-and-a-half feet in width.

Its picture quality is as stunning as its size, displaying crisp and clear content at the highest HD resolution available of 1080p. Sit as close as you like, and see colors pop and never before seen details become visible. Sports and action sequences are as big as life.

Despite its size, the TV is thin and light. The giant LED TV is only 141 pounds in weight and at less than 5 inches in thickness. And with LED technology it’s so energy efficient; it uses less energy than two 75-watt light bulbs.

Sharp is the only brand that offers the three biggest screen sizes for LED TVs at 70 inches, 80 inches and now 90 inches.
