HP has officially re-entered the tablet business with their all new ElitePad 900 tablet. They have unveiled the new business-class Windows 8 tablet on October 1, 2012. The ElitePad 900 tablet will be launched early next year.
The ElitePad 900 tablet is designed for use with the upcoming Windows 8 operating system. It packs a full laptop-class Intel processor behind a 10.1in touch-sensitive display. It weighs only 1.5 pounds thanks to a 9.2-millimeter thin aluminum case and lightweight Corning Gorilla Glass 2 covering the screen.
A Full HD 1080p front-facing camera is included for video conferencing, while an eight megapixel camera appears on the rear for still and video capture. It also sports a 32GB or 64GB or SSD storage, and optional integrated 4G with hotspot support, and it can handle finger, stylus or voice input.
